GeneD's Review Violence / Gore: Some of the youkai attack Natsume or each other, usually threatening to eat their victim. At least one youkai does get eaten but it's not particularly gory. Natsume's standard defense is to punch the youkai in the head. Very little blood. Nudity / Sexual Content: Natsume and Natori go to a hot spring and are seen in towels. Theological Themes: As stated in the premise, the series revolves around youkai and all the usual things that accompany them, like exorcisms, shrines, priests and youkai possessing people. Negative Themes: Some minor swearing. |
