Brief Description: Banner is a baby gray squirrel that is given to a cat as food after her owner killed the squirrel's mother. However, the cat feels pity for the baby and decides to raise him instead eating him. Banner grows up happy and believing himself a domestic cat, but her surrogate mother knows better and when she sees he's capable of fending for himself sends him back to the wild. Banner then meets with other squirrels who reluctantly welcome him into their group, and so begin the adventures of Banner as he learns to be a squirrel and his own personal qualities prove an asset to his new family in the dangerous forest. This is an anime for all the family and besides a few dramatic moments (think Bambi) it has no objectionable content and is recommended for all ages. |
