Brief Description: The story takes place in the early summer of 2015 in the city of Tachikawa, Japan. The city is populated by people known as Gatchaman, warriors who fight in special reinforced suits powered by "NOTEs", the manifestation of the spiritual powers of living beings. Enter Hajime Ichinose, a 16 year old energetic high school girl who is obsessed with collecting day planners and stationary. She is chosen to become a Gatchaman and tasked with the duty of fighting a mysterious alien life form known as MESS. Violence / Gore: There are several instances of "real world" violence, even if they don't exactly happen because of a "real world" reason, like car accidents, a tunnel that collapses and a man stabbing people. Some of the later Gatchaman fights are more brutal and bloody, although not overly graphic. Rui gets beaten up quite badly at one point. |
